NBA選秀會史發展之初探

還秀制度之所以會產生，其用意在於防止財力雄厚的球隊肆無忌憚的大肆搜括球員，造成小成本的球隊經營困難、無法生存。換句話說，也就是維持「機會均等」。本研究的目的在探討NBA選秀會史的歷史軌跡，需要追溯其歷史根源，並瞭解其制度演變過程，從史實的演變過程中，來獲得寶貴的經驗。在內容上以選秀會制度演變、棄學風潮及選秀潮流為探討焦點，並分析其所面臨的問題。本研究採文獻分析法，根據史料與相關文獻，作為研究的基本依據。透過史料及文獻的蒐集，經研讀加以分類整理，就其內容予以詮釋與歸納，而後再加分析考證，進而理出以下的初步結論：一、近年來由於NBA腳步逐漸邁向國際化，NBA對申請參加選秀會的外籍球員其年齡、條件等等也有諸多規範與限制，以避免世界各國攻擊NBA太過心狠手辣，為吸取籃球人才而斷了各國籃運的希望與後路。二、棄學球員傾巢而出顯然是最近的熱門話題，可是現在所見，盡是棄學球員恃才而驕，面子越捧越大，底子卻是越來越虛，無怪乎與硬底子的外籍球員相比起來不再吃香。三、從「樂透籤」的年齡層看，棄學潮不但未稍息，反倒有愈吹愈烈的趨勢。與其陷入高中熱這種盲目的迷思，還不如花心思如何向下紮根，建立更嚴謹的高中、大學籃球教育與成長管道，才是抵擋棄學潮、高中熱與外國風的正本清源之道。簡單的探討還秀會的制度與歷史，會發現它也是NBA歷史上重要而不可磨滅的一部份；分析各隊的選秀史，應該能大致了解各隊興衰起落的緣由因果，也可藉此體會到，為什麼選秀會有如此大的迷人魅力，吸引著這麼多人的目光。
