身體質量指數、運動參與行為與健身運動自我呈現、社會體型焦慮之研究

A Study of Body Mass Index, Exercise Behavior, Exercise Self Presentation, and Physique Anxiety

摘要


本研究旨在探討學生身體質量指數、運動參與行為與健身運動自我呈現、社會體型焦慮上的差異情形。本研究之參與者為485位,平均年齡為18.82±2.72歲,身高為162.71±0.07公分,體重為55.11±12.16公斤。本研究以獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析、積差相關進行資料分析。研究結果如下:一、男生在自我呈現建構高於女生;女生在社會體型焦慮高於男生。二、BMI過輕組在體形呈現自在高於其他組。三、中運動頻率組在體形呈現自在高於低運動頻率組。四、長運動時間組在健身運動自我呈現高於低運動時間組。五、自我呈現建構與自我呈現動機、體形呈現自在、運動頻率和運動時間有正相關;自我呈現動機與體形呈現自在、負面體型評價不安、運動頻率和運動時間有正相關;體形呈現自在與負面體型評價不安和BMI呈負相關,但與運動頻率有正相關;負面體型評價不安與運動頻率呈負相關;運動頻率與運動時間有正相關存在。最後根據研究結果進行討論,並對後續研究與實際應用提出建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of the students with different body mass index and exercise behavior ranks in exercise self presentation and physique anxiety. The sample consisted of 485 students. Participant's mean age, height and weight were 18.82±2.72 years old, 162.71±0.07cm, and 55.11±12.16kg respectively. An independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's product-moment correlation were used for the statistical examination. The results were as follows: 1. Males were higher than females on Self Presentational Construction, females were higher than males on Physique Anxiety. 2. The BMI light group was higher than other groups on Physical Present Comfort. 3. The middle exercise frequency group was higher than the low exercise frequency group on Physical Present Comfort. 4. The long exercise time was higher than the low exercise time group on Self Presentational Construction. 5. There were positive correlation on Self Presentational Construction with Self Presentational Motivation, Physical Present Comfort, exercise frequency, and exercise time. Self Presentational Motivation positively correlated with Physical Present Comfort, exercise frequency, and exercise time. Physical Present Comfort negatively correlated with Negative Physique Evaluation Concern and BMI, but positively correlated with exercise frequency. There was negative correlation on Negative Physique Evaluation Concern with exercise frequency. Exercise frequency positively correlated with exercise frequency. Based on the results, the application of this study was discussed and some suggestions for future research was proposed as well.
