中華隊歷年國際足球比賽的主場優勢分析
An Analyses of the Home Field Advantage Based on the Records of Chinese Taipei Soccer Tournaments

Research showed that usually there is a home field advantage over all kinds of games. Hence, one of the keys to win the game is to utilize the home field advantage. In this paper, we use the results of international soccer tournaments in which the Chinese Taipei team had participated between 1954 and 2005 to analyze the home field advantage. We found that the matches that the Chinese Taipei team was in, of Olympic Games, World Cup, and Asian Nations Cup do have significant home field advantage. However, the matches in East Asian Championship do not have enough evidence to support the home field advantage.
