國立中興大學游泳教學滿意度之研究

A Study of Student's Satisfaction toward Swimming Classes in National Chung Hsin University

摘要


本研究以國立中興大學93學年度新生男、女學生共1,423人為研究對象,經分析比較藉以瞭解:一、大一新生對游泳課程教學的滿意度;二、比較大一新生不同變項游泳教學滿意度的差異情形;三、游泳課程對大一新生後續行為的影響。結果可分成以下幾點結論:一、大一新生對體育課游泳教學滿意度反應大致良好(總滿意度3.12),各項因素之滿意程度以教師教學項目最高,對學習結果自評項目最低;二、大一新生游泳教學滿意度各題目,前五名多為教師教學能力及教材內容相關,後五名均與游泳池硬體設施清潔與數量有關;三、游泳課程教學後續影響,有55.4%的新生認為對其游泳能力有幫助;有49.2%的人認為對其游泳運動的興趣有提升;近半數的同學贊成將游泳課列入大一體育課程中,僅有近兩成的同學反對,由此可見大部分同學認同學習游泳技能的必要性。由以上結論建議:為提升學生游泳能力建議增加上課週數為8到10週,上課時應實施能力分組以符合不同能力學生之需求。另游泳池教學環境設備老舊,應逐年編列預算充實更新,以提升學生使用意願。

The subjects for this study consisted of 1,423 freshmen in the academic year of 2004, including both male and female students. The purpose of study was to realize the following aspects: freshmen's satisfaction toward swimming classes, the differences of satisfaction from variant conditions regarding swimming classes, the effects of swimming classes on freshmen. To follow was the results of the study: 1. The freshmen had high satisfaction (average 3.12 points) toward swimming classes. The satisfaction toward instructors was the highest, while the satisfaction toward self-evaluation of students themselves was the lowest. 2. Among all questions regarding satisfaction in the questionnaire, top five high- satisfied were all related to instructor's professional competence and course content, while top five low-satisfied were all related to the pool's facility and maintenance. 3. The effects of swimming classes on freshmen: 55.4% of them believed swimming classes could improve their swimming ability; 49.2% of them believed swimming classes could enhance their interest in swimming; around 50% of them agreed that swimming classes could be a required class in freshman while 20% of them disagreed with the proposal. Several suggestions based on the abovementioned results were following: 1. The syllabus of swimming classes should be prolonged to 8 to 10 weeks a semester. 2. Swimming classes should be designed into several levels and targets to meet student's need. 3. School should provide enough annual budgets to build or remodel facility for encouraging student's willingness of utilizing the pool.
