大專網球甲乙組選手之運動目標取向與自我設限之相關研究

A Study of Relationships between Goal Orientation and Self-Handicap on College Tennis Athletes in Taiwan

摘要


本研究目的旨在探討大專甲乙組網球選手在運動目標取向與自我設限之差異及相關。以73名大專甲組網球選手與59名大專乙組網球選手共計132名為研究對象,其中包括男生90名;女生42名,平均年齡21.13歲。研究對象先參加說明並填寫個人資料與運動目標取向量表及自我設限量表。本研究資料以獨立樣本t考驗、皮爾遜積差相關分析與獨立樣本二因子變異數後發現:一、大專乙組網球選手在工作取向著高於大專甲組網球選手,而大專網球甲乙組選手在自我取向及自我設限則無顯著差異水準存在。二、大專網球選手的自我取向與工作取向呈現顯著正相關。三、大專甲、乙組網球選手受到高低運動目標取向的作用在自我設限上未有顯著差異現象。根據研究結果建議教練都應以強調技術精熟及進步的工作取向為主的訓練環境,這可能有效減低選手為了避免失敗損及自尊而產生自我設限,並應瞭解選手自我設限的行為因素,給予選手正確指導選擇適當的歸因。

The purpose of this study was to study of relationships between goal orientation and self-handicap on college tennis athletes of Division I & II in Taiwan. There were 132 college tennis athletes (90 boys & 42girls) which included 73 athletes from the Division I and 59 from the Division II. The Task and Ego Orientation Questionnaire and Self-Handicap Questionnaire were administrated to the college tennis athletes. The statistical methods for data analysis in this study included t-test tow-way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study were: 1. There was a significant difference between college tennis athletes of Division I & II on task orientation, but no significant difference on self-handicap and ego orientation. The college tennis athletes Division II had significantly higher scores than the college tennis athletes Division I on task orientation. 2. A significantly positive relationship was found between task orientation and ego orientation on the college tennis college athletes. 3. There was no significant difference between high-low task \ ego orientation of the college tennis athletes on self-handicap. The findings suggest that the most common reasons for coaches to focus skill mastery and improve task orientation in sport may improve an experience of avoidable failure and personal ego, and coaches can have those knowledge to assist with athletes on self-handicap in sport.
