Compared with Taiwan and International Children Fitness Condition in 20-Meter Shuttle Run Test

摘要


The purpose of this study was to compare with Taiwan and International children maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) in 20-meter shuttle run test (20mMST). 183 boys and 164 girls were participation in the test. Compare the research includes (1) United State 8 to 11 year old child research by Beets et al. (2004); (2) the world child equally completes the stage speed research by Olds et al. (2006). The predication equation (Y=31.025+3.238X-3.248A+0.1536AX, r=0.71, A=age, X=finally completes the stage speed, Y=predication of VO2max) for VO2max developed by Léger et al. (1988). The t-test were used to statistical analysis. The result demonstrated the Taiwan child fitness condition compares with American children are to weakness, the main reason possibly are not well activited, and the Taiwan child's fitness condition drops more and more quickly along with the age. Demonstrates along with the age increase but the physiological load of exercise has not actually increased. Finally is completing the stage speed with the international child the comparison also to indicate the Taiwan child tests the result quite to be low. The main reason and the life custom condition and the movement custom have the relations. Child's fitness condition may demonstrate the country competitive ability. Therefore improves child's fitness condition promote is one of competitive ability are important strategy.
