問題導向模式教學與直接教學對高中生在體育課程身體活動量之影響

An Examination of High School Students' Physical Activity Level by Implementing the Problem-Based Learning Strategy and Direct Instruction

摘要


教師應具備利用有效策略去促使學生從事規律身體活動的教育技巧,如此才能增加身體活動量,達到教授體育課程的目的。本研究主要目的旨在探討問題導向模式教學與直接教學對於高中生身體活動量的影響。以北部地區某所國立高中二年級兩個班共88位學生為研究對象,一班施以問題導向模式教學,人數46人;另一班施以直接教學,人數42人。本實驗教學為每週兩節課,每節50分鐘,共安排10週的教學實驗介入。本研究採用電子計步器做為檢測身體活動量的工具,所得資料以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定與趨向分析進行分析。本研究結果發現:一、問題導向模式教學在10週體育課程中能有效提升高中生身體活動量且達到顯著水準。二、直接教學在10週體育課程中能有效提升高中生身體活動量且達到顯著水準。三、經過10週的課程介入後,實施問題導向模式教學的學生身體活動量高於直接教學的學生。在體育教學中,問題導向模式教學與直接教學皆能提升學生身體活動量,而問題導向模式教學比直接教學更能有效提升學生身體活動量。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and direct instruction on physical activity levels for high school students. Furthermore, the study trying to: a) examine the effects of PBL on physical activity levels among high school students in physical education; b) inspect the effects of direct instruction on physical activity levels among high school students in physical education; and c) compare PBL and direct instruction on physical activity levels among high school students in physical education. Two classes of high school students (n=88) and their teacher were participated in this study. One class (n=46) received the problem-based learning strategy. The other class was (n=42) received the direct instruction strategy. Both groups were implemented different teaching approaches for 10 weeks. The class was met for two times a week and each class has fifty minutes long. The Yamax Digi-walker YX701 pedometer was used to cumulate the student's physical activity levels during the physical education. The descriptive, independent samples t-test and trend analysis were utilized to analyze all the acquired data. The significant or rejection level was set at the .05 level. The results were as follows: a). the problem-based learning was significantly physical activity levels increased after 10 weeks of intervention. b). direct instruction can effectively enhance the level of physical activity and high school students to reach significant level. c). after 10 weeks of curriculum intervention, the implementation of problem-oriented model of teaching students with physical activity was higher than the direct teaching of students.
