環境條件控制下台灣品牌之慢速壘球特性

本研究主要探討在環境控制下國產慢速壘球球體性能之比較分析。研究方法是以實驗方式對三種國產品牌之慢速壘球進行環境條件控制下量測球體圓周尺寸、重量、恢復係數（coefficient of restitution, COR）等參數值，了解慢速壘球特性之趨勢。經由實驗結果顯示不同環境條件下會造成慢速壘球圓周尺寸、重量及恢復係數之變化。本研究經過70天環境控制測試各三種不同品牌的慢速壘球球體，對照組壘球球體受環境狀態變化時，其物理性質易隨之改變；而實驗組球體已漸趨於穩定。換言之，球體製成後，環境條件的變化確實會對國產慢速壘球球體的重量與恢復係數等參數有顯著之影響。顯示壘球選手面對不同的比賽單位時，需要更佳的反應來適應不同品牌所造成之影響。另一方面，如何於不同氣候條件比賽時，生產與選擇合適之比賽用慢速壘球是一個重要的運動產業課題。

This study was to explore the slow pitch softball of spheroid properties of Taiwan-made under environmental conditions. Under the condition of slow pitch control, 3 brands of Taiwan-made balls are taken to this research experiment. In order to understand the specialty of slow pitch softball, coefficient of restitution, weight and spheroid periphery are measured. The experimental results indicate that coefficient of restitution, weight and spheroid periphery will change under different condition. This research undergoes 70 day of environmental control to test three brands of balls, experimental ball are more stable in comparison with other. In other words, after the ball is made, changes of environmental condition remarkably affect Taiwan-made balls. This indicates that players must have better response during different games. On the other hand, it's an important lesson to learn when selecting and manufacturing a ball under different weather.
