北桃地區私立技專院校學生體育課之學習動機與學習成效

Relationship between Students' Learning Motivation and Learning Achievement in Physical Education of Private Junior Colleges in Northern Taiwan

摘要


本研究之目的為建構北桃地區私立技專院校學生參與體育課之學習動機、學習成效之相關模式,並探索其中的最重要決定因素以及二者之相互關聯性。研究除採用量化的方式來檢驗模式的合適性之外,另以質化方式將蒐集的資料依據紮根理論進行分析。量化檢驗的受試對象共計465位體育課之參與者以及其中經過篩選不同的訪談對象30位,研究工具分別為問卷及半結構式的訪談大綱,量化研究所蒐集的資料採用線性結構方程模式(SEM)來檢驗。經由線性結構方程模式驗證後,結果顯示假設模式能與實證資料相適配,學生的學習動機以及學習成效均呈現正相關,而質性資料經紮根理論進行分析後發現,學習動機是影響學習成效最主要之因素,而學習成效會增強學生的參與動機,體育教師所設計的體育課程,對於體育課學生的學習動機以及學習成效均有助益。

The purpose of this research was to comprehend how learning motivation and achievement work on physical education for private junior college students in northern Taiwan and to explore the most critical determinant and the relationship between them. This study adopted not only the quantitative methodology to test the appropriateness, but also the qualitative method to analyze the data in accordance with the grounded theory. Totally, 465 valid questionnaires were collected by using quantitative methodology, then 30 interviewees were chosen from the above subjects by using qualitative method; in addition, utilizing questionnaires, semi-structured conventional question outline as the instruments to collect data. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was adopted by statistical analysis to examine the data collected. Hence, the outcomes indicated that the hypothesis models were appropriate to the empirical data and the relationships between students' learning motivation and learning achievement were positive. And, instantly through grounded theory analysis of qualitative research, it was noted that students' learning motivation was the most significant factor influencing learning achievement. That is, learning achievement would promote students' learning motivation. Precisely, based on the curriculum model designed by physical education teachers, which would be beneficial for students' learning motivation and learning achievement.
