以文化資本探究學校體育之發展

Development of the P. E. at School by Cultural Capital

摘要


本研究以文化資本理論出發,旨在探討學校體育提供學生文化資本的情形及差異。藉由學校文化財貨的情形,以及對於運動或才藝的重視等項目來了解學校體育賦予學生哪些文化資本。本研究採用質性研究的方式,針對臺北縣林口鄉兩所公立國民小學進行初探。研究結果發現:一、城市學校提供多樣化的體育課程及活動;偏遠學校結合當地資源發展本位課程。二、城市與偏遠學校體育教師在創意方面差異不大,惟城市學校的體育教師擔任團隊的訓練。三、城市與偏遠學校體育設備的數量與種類因學生人數而異,惟城市學校提供較多元的體育設備,以利學校舉辦活動、課程需要和團隊訓練使用。四、城市與偏遠學校均建立一套榮譽制度,城市學校傾向較多獎勵。基於上述之研究發現,本研究以學校體育賦予學生文化資本之所得歸納出具體之建議,供學校及後續研究之參考。

The research uses the concept of cultural capital to explore the differences between urban and rural schools providing cultural capital to students. According to the cultural assets of schools, the emphasis of cultures and accomplishments, what cultural capital schools are providing will be understood. Two public elementary schools in Linkou Township, Taipei County are sampled for this study, qualitative methods such as document analysis and experts interview are employed. The findings are as follows: a. The urban school provides various curriculum and cultural activities; however, the rural school combines the characteristics between the school and the environment to create its own curriculum and cultural activities. b. P. E. teachers are full of creativity at the urban and rural school; however, P.E . teachers at the urban school have to manage their sport teams. c. The inventory of sport equipment will be depending on the number of students; however, the urban school provides more variety of sport equipment that teachers could use it on the curriculum of sport activities, and have a training for sport teams. d. Both schools have a honor roll system for students, but the system at urban school is better. Based on the findings from the research, the thesis generalizes some specific suggestions about how schools can supply cultural capital to students. Also, it is a reference for schools and future research.
