中華職棒選手攻擊表現、勝率及得分之關係

Relationships among Offense Performance, Winning Average and Gaining Points in Chinese Professional Baseball Players

摘要

本研究目的主要探討的是中華職業棒球聯盟，La New熊隊、統一獅隊、興農牛隊及兄弟象隊四支隊伍2006年至2008年例行賽，球隊整體攻擊指數、打擊棒次攻擊指數與勝率、得分的相關情形，期盼能作為臺灣職業球團訓練和比賽參考之依據。本研究以2006-2008年中華職業棒球聯盟，La New熊隊、統一獅隊、興農牛隊及兄弟象隊四支隊伍為對象，蒐集三年例行賽攻擊紀錄後，以Microsoft Office Excel文書軟體進行描述性統計分析，以求得整體攻擊指數及打擊棒次攻擊指數與勝率相關之數據，再以SPSS 12.0 for Windows統計套裝軟體進行皮爾森積差相關分析。本研究結果：在四隊整體攻擊指數與球隊勝率、得分之關係方面，四隊整體攻擊指數皆與球隊勝率、得分呈現高度顯著的相關。而在打擊棒次攻擊指數與球隊勝率、得分之關係方面，各隊打擊棒次攻擊指數中之第二棒、第三棒、第六棒、第八棒，皆與勝率有著顯著的相關；而得分方面，第二棒、第三棒、第六棒、第七棒、第八棒，有著顯著的相關。本研究結論：2006-2008年中華職業棒球大聯盟四隊整體攻擊指數與球隊勝率及得分呈現高度相關。而在打擊棒次攻擊指數達顯著相關的棒次有第二棒、第三棒、第六棒、第七棒、第八棒，可見棒次串連與球隊得分有著不可分的關係。因此，教練排定棒次應掌握串連為原則，球隊獲勝機率及得分效率將大幅提升。

Purpose: This research explores the relationships between on-base percentage plus slugging percentage, the total averages of each batting order, and the winning average and scores in the regular seasons from 2006 to 2008 between the four teams in CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League), the La New Bears, the Uni-President Lions, the Sinon Bulls, and the Brother Elephants. I hope the research can be reference materials for baseball training and games in domestic professional club. Method: The main objects are the La New Bears, the Uni-President Lions, the Sinon Bulls, and the Brother Elephants in the CPBL from 2006 to 2008. After collecting the offense records in the regular seasons among the three years, I use Microsoft Office Excel to give an analysis of descriptive statistics in order to get the data of on-base percentage plus slugging percentage and total averages of each batting order related to winning averages. Then, SPSS 12.0 for Windows is used to carry out the analysis of Pearson product-moment correlation. Results: Through the analysis we can know that the on-base percentage plus slugging percentages of the four teams are obviously and highly related to the winning average and scores in their teams. Through the total average of each batting order in each team, we can learn that of the second, third, sixth and eighth batter correlates evidently with winning average. Moreover, the second, third, sixth, seventh and eighth batters of each team are related to each other in gaining scores. Conclusion: We can know that the on-base percentage plus slugging percentages of the four teams in the CPBL from 2006 to 2008 are highly related with the winning average and scores in their teams. In the total averages of each batting order, the second, third, sixth, seventh and eighth batting orders are highly related. Thus, we can see that the connections between each batting order are inseparable from gaining points in their teams. Therefore, arranging the batting orders must be based on how much the coaches command the connections. And then, the winning average and the efficiency of scoring in their teams will be substantially improved.
