Chinese's preface was beginning from ”the Earlier Han Dynasty”. The contents and artistry trended toward institution. But the preface of Ou Yung-hsiu was smashing in quality and quantity. His preface had great appraisal. First, my thesis studied the content and style of preface. Then I summed up the ingredients of preface, and discussed the development of preface before Ou Yung-hsiu. At last I analyzed classification and dicussed the characteristics of Ou Yung-hsiu's preface.
