臺灣產荸薺屬的掃描電子顯微鏡研究
The Studies of Formosan Eleocharis (Cyperaceae) by Scanning Electron Microscope
摘要
就古典的形態分類而言，荸薺屬(Eleocharis)是莎草科中較自然的一個分類群；然屬以下的分類仍見仁見智，有所出入。本研究目的在借重電子顯微鏡的特長，採尋新的分類特徵，以檢討該屬之分類系統，經研究，依花苞上表皮細胞之矽質體及剛毛特徵，可將該屬分成兩亞屬。

Floral scales and hypogynous bristle of Eleocharis acicularis, E. congesta, E. dulcis, E. geniculata, E. ochrostachys and E. tetraquetera were observed under the scanning electron microscope. Silica body in the epidermis of each floral scales and spinules in the margin of each hypogynous brisltes is conspicuously found. The length, width and arrangement of the silica body and the spinules were described in detail. The possible subdivision of the genus Eleocharis in Taiwan is discussed by these data.
