This article discusses the background, development and outcome of the ＂White Rose Revolution＂ in Guatemala with the objective of summarizing the events to a foreign audience. The article describes to some level of detail, economic and historical aspects that should be understood in order to put in the right dimension the events of September 2015, and concludes with a brief analysis of the outcomes of the event.
