刑事警察人員的職業家庭衝突感受-兼論對工作滿足的影響

A Research on Work-Family Conflict of Criminal Investigation Police Officers

摘要


「職業家庭衝突」是臺灣警察人員主要的壓力來源之一;簡單來說,職家衝突就是個體在職場中的角色扮演和家庭中的角色扮演之間,因無法妥善調節兩種生活領域中他者期望之社會態度與行為,而產生的認知失調現象。本研究以「個人屬性」為控制變項,「職家衝突」為自變項,「工作滿足」為依變項,以屏東縣政府警察局所屬刑事偵查佐人員為對象,用問卷調查法來蒐集資料,探討各變項間的假設關係。研究發現:1.受測者的職家衝突平均得分屬中上程度,顯示基層刑事警察人員的確面對工作影響家庭、家庭影響工作的角色衝突問題。2.教育程度越高,職家衝突感受越深。3.刑事外勤工作的警察人員有較強烈的「家庭影響工作」感受。4.年齡愈長、年資愈深,對工作環境的物理與社會心理層面愈覺滿足。5.職家衝突感受愈強烈,工作滿足的知覺程度愈低。

Work-Family conflict is one of the main sources of pressure to the police officers in Taiwan. We might define work-family conflict as a kind of role conflict when individual cannot deal with role playing between workplace and family, so he or she encounters cognitive dissonance. This is a survey on the criminal investigation police officers of Taitung Police Precinct; we take "personal characteristics" as a control variable, "work-family conflict" as an independent variable, "job satisfaction" as a dependent variable. Findings were: 1. Work-family conflict level of respondents was above average, there were some impacts on the grassroots criminal police officers. 2. Respondents' education background had statistically effects on the level of work family conflict. 3. Criminal police officers working in the field had a strong sense of work-family conflict. 4. Respondents' age and seniority had statistically effects on the level of job satisfaction. 5. The negative relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction were statistically significant.
