松蘿酸定量及對植物病原真菌之抑制效果

Quantification of Usnic Acid and the Suppressive Effects on Plant Pathogenic Fungi

摘要


松蘿屬地衣普遍含有松蘿酸,此地衣化學物質具有抑制微生物之生物活性。臺灣的松蘿中以Usnea longissima的松蘿酸含量最高(3.31%),其次分別為U. fragilescens(2.05%)、U. glabrata(1.99%)、U. bismolliuscula(1.95%)。松蘿酸對植物病原菌具有抑制效果,在培養基添加10 ppm及40 ppm松蘿酸比添加1 ppm更能抑制真菌菌絲生長及孢子發芽,而松蘿酸對不同真菌菌絲生長之抑制率有差異,對Pestalotia sp.、Colletotrichum gloeosporioides、Phellinus noxius的抑制率分別為71.3%、65.0%、60.9%。實驗結果顯示松蘿酸有潛力應用於植物病害管理。

Usnic acid is generally found in thalli of the lichen genus Usnea. The lichen substance has biological activities of microbial inhibition. Among Usnea species in Taiwan, U. longissima had the highest usnic acid contents (3.31%), followed by U. fragilescens (2.05%), U. glabrata (1.99%) and U. bismolliuscula (1.95%). Suppressive effects of usnic acid were found against plant pathogens. In vitro assays with usnic acid at the doses of 10 ppm and 40 ppm were better than at 1 ppm on reducing mycelial growth and spores germination. The suppressive rates against mycelial growth varied among species. There were 71.3%, 65.0% and 60.9% on Pestalotia sp., Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Phellinus noxius, respectively. The results indicate the potential to apply usnic acid in plant disease management.
