羅漢松屬植物抽出物之抗氧化與抗酪胺酸酶活性評估

Evaluation of Antioxidant and Antityrosinase Activities of Extracts from Podocarpus Species

摘要


本研究係探討羅漢松屬植物抽出物之抗氧化與抗酪胺酸酶活性,5種試驗樹種為羅漢松(Podocarpus macrophyllus)、大葉羅漢松(Podocarpus macrophyllus var. macrophyllus)、蘭嶼羅漢松(Podocarpus costalis)、百日青(Podocarpus neriifolius)與叢花百日青(Podocarpus fasciculus)。抗氧化物質含量分析顯示,枝條抽出物之總酚類與總黃酮類含量均高於葉子抽出物,其中,又以百日青、大葉羅漢松與蘭嶼羅漢松等枝條抽出物的抗氧化物質含量較高。評估羅漢松屬植物抽出物的抗氧化活性,同樣以枝條抽出物的活性優於葉子抽出物,抽出物抗氧化活性的高低與抗氧化物質含量相關。清除DPPH自由基的活性評估,以百日育與大葉羅漢松枝條抽出物的活性最佳;還原力、總抗氧化能力與抑制β-胡蘿蔔素脫色的評估試驗中,亦以百日青、大葉羅漢松與蘭嶼羅漢松等枝條抽出物的活性較佳。評估羅漢松屬植物抽出物的抗酪胺酸酶活性,以百日青葉子抽出物的效果最好,在以基質為酪胺酸或多巴時,均具有抑制酪胺酸酶的活性。

The antioxidant and antityrosinase activities of extracts from five Podocarpus species including Podocarpus macrophyllus, Podocarpus macrophyllus var. macrophyllus, Podocarpus costalis, Podocarpus neriifolius and Podocarpus fasciculus were investigated in the study. Results revealed that the antioxidant content, total phenolic content and total flavonoid content of all twig extracts were higher than those of leaf extracts. Among five Podocarpus species, the twig extracts of P. neriifolius, P. macrophyllus var. macrophyllus and P. costalis were rich in antioxidant constituents. The antioxidant activity of twig extracts were also better than those of leaf extracts; the antioxidant performances of extracts were proportional to the antioxidant content. Twig extracts of P. neriifolius and P. macrophyllus var. macrophyllus exhibited the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity. Results from reducing power, Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity and inhibition of β-carotene bleaching assays, the antioxidant performances of twig extracts from P. neriifolius, P. macrophyllus var. macrophyllus and P. costalis were superior to the twig extracts from the other species. Among the extracts from five Podocarpus species, P. neriifolius leaf extract shows the best tyrosinase inhibitory effect in both substrate assays (L-DOPA and L-tyrosine).
