摘要

春石斛蘭‘台中4號－芳明翡翠’為本場新一代豐花系列品種，係以豐花性佳之商業品種Den. Angel Baby ‘Love Pocket’為母本，以雜交選育出之耐熱特性Den. Red Emperor H5品系為父本進行種間雜交，經篩選雜交後裔，以營養繁殖而得。新品種為小型植株，具有豐花、適用中小型盆花、容易開花、花朵小型、第4節位始花、花色佳、每花序3.7朵花、花朵排列整齊、香氣濃郁及觀賞壽命33.4天等外觀優點，同時亦有生長快速、強健、適合控制催花以計畫生產等生育特性，十分具有商業生產潛力。

The nobile-type dendrobium 'Taichung No. 4 FM Jadeite' is a new generation of flower-rich cultivars in TDARES. The commercial cultivar Den. Angel Baby 'Love Pocket', with characters of abundant flowers, was used as the female parent. The self-crossing Den. Red Emperor H5, a line with characters of big flower and strong fragrance, was used to cross-species crosses with male parents. New nobile-type dendrobium 'Taichung No. 4 FM Jadeite' is a small plant, with the appearance of abundant flowers, suitable for small and medium potted flowers, easy to bloom, small flowers, blooming from the fourth node, bright flower color, 3.7 flowers per inflorescence, perfect arrangement of flowers, strong fragrance and 33.4 days of ornamental life. Also has the advantages of fast growth, strong growth, suitable for controlling flowering to plan production, etc. The new cultivar has great commercial production potential.
