Delirium is often occurred in the aged. The real pathogenic mechanism is very complicated. Now it is viewed as the cerebral neural dysfunction, which is commonly seen in the emergent medicine, and it is the major symptom of severe latent diseases. In the era of modern medicine, these symptoms are viewed highly. Under recent cooperation and hardworking of Chinese and western medicine, fair outcomes to prevent and treatment of delirium by Chinese medicine are gained, therefore, we should use Chinese medicine to care more delirium patients in more positive attitude.
