身心動作技法融入瑪莎葛蘭姆技巧教學之研究

The Study of Incorporating Somatic Movement Approach into Graham Technique

摘要


本研究目的旨在尋找適用的身心動作技法練習,融入葛蘭姆技巧的教學中,藉由身心動作技法之實務操作的過程,體認身體智慧、開發身體覺察和增進自我瞭解的能力,發展出其有身心動作教育觀念的葛蘭姆技巧教學策略,並反思教學歷程,提供相同領域教師之參考。本研究主要以行動研究為框架,採質化取徑(qualitative approach)的資料收集的方法,經由個人經驗進行教材探究與分析,將身心動作技法融入葛蘭姆教學的試驗,形成自我教學成長的行動歷程。根據研究者的實務教學進行試驗,進一步提出可以實務操作的身心技法練習。本研究結果如下:一、葛蘭姆技巧與身心動作技法之訓練,皆以自我實現為終極目標,均非常重視「人」存在價值的訓練體系。二、身心動作技法與葛蘭姆技巧有其融合的可能性。三、透過葛蘭姆技巧術語及教學系統之整理,進一步釐清該技巧的內涵,並找出相對應的身心技法。四、身心動作技法融入葛蘭姆技巧教學後,本研究提供之具體練習方法與範例,已從學生的回饋得到實證。五、身心動作技法的介入,豐富了葛蘭姆技巧的教學方法,並改善以模仿為主的單向教學模式。

The purpose of this study was to search for the appropriate somatic movement approaches that would fuse with Graham Technique. Practical somatic movement approaches allow dancers to develop body awareness and to improve self-understanding. Developing a Graham Technique instruction strategy that incorporates mind and body awareness provides teachers with the insights to rethink the teaching process, and also serves as a reference for teachers in the dance field.This study incorporated action research as a framework, and took a qualitative approach, conducting instructional material exploration and personal analysis. The experiment of incorporating somatic movement approaches into Graham instruction informed the dancers' self-education and growth. Through actual instruction, observation, interviewing students, and evaluating the learning situation of students, this study elaborated and clarified the central content of the Graham Technique and the characteristics of body movement based on Somatics. This study also explored the Graham Technique under the actual conditions in Taiwan, in which the instructor should have somatic educational concepts. Furthermore, the study conducted experiments on the researcher's practical instruction, proposing that somatic techniques could be used in teaching Graham Technique.The results of this study were as follows:1. Both Graham Technique and somatic techniques aimed at the embodiment of self-esteem of the performers, emphasizing the humanistic spirit underlying the training systems.2. There was the possibility of blending somatic movement approaches and Graham Technique.3. The clarification and elucidation of the terminologies of Graham Technique led to the reconsideration of the principles underlying the technique, and help identify the corresponding somatic movement approaches.4. This study presented concrete examples for practice, compiled from students' feedback. The concrete examples for practice presented by this research were proved helpful by evaluating students' feedback.5. Intervention of the somatic movement approaches could enrich the teaching methods of Graham Technique as well as improve the unidirectional instructional mode that primarily involves imitation.
