研究者於國立臺北藝術大學舞蹈系之求學期間,累積許多現代舞相關學習經驗,包括以學習者、表演者及教學助理…等身分進入現代舞技巧課程課室之中的不同體驗。再加上受師資培育「以學習者為中心」觀點的啟發,因而激發研究者以北藝大學生為研究對象,想更進一步瞭解北藝大舞蹈系學生對現代舞之所學所思。 本研究透過文獻資料整理、問卷及訪談等方法,主要目的為探究北藝大舞蹈系大學部對現代舞學習之看法,並藉此介紹現代舞的發展脈絡及其在臺灣舞蹈高等教育的發展概況。 研究結果發現經由票選出的20位優秀之學生,對研究中所分析的四個學習面向:現代舞及其技巧、學習評量、學習環境與學習能力之優缺點分析,皆有自己獨特的看法,並能說明其理由。研究者最後提出我國現代舞發展與西方發展脈絡同步,以及在現代舞教學仍有改進空間之兩大結論,並針對學習者、教學者、學校及研究者四方面,提出建議供參。
I have studied as a student in dance program at TNUA over 10 years from precollege to graduate school. During the learning process, I have experienced different roles as a student, a performer, and a teacher’s assistant for modern dance technique classes. In addition, during my training of teacher’s education, I was impressed and inspired by the concept of student-centered learning. Therefore, I am very interested in how students learn the modern dance in terms of understanding its concept, various styles, and self-evaluation on learning environment and outcome. Through literature review, questionnaire, group discussion and interview, this study aims to understand the learning of modern dance of undergraduate dance majors at TNUA, and at the same time reviews the history of modern dance and its development in higher education, especially with a focus on the modern dance development in Taiwan. The research target is 20 students selected by their own classmates. The study reveals that students have their own points of view to respond to questionnaire and group discussion. They are knowledgeable about modern dance and modern dance technique, and are able to analyze learning environment, learning evaluation as well as to point out the strength and weakness of their own physical abilities. From the study, the researcher also concludes that the developmental context of modern dance in Taiwan is similar to that of the United States; and the teaching of modern dance in Taiwan still has room for improving. Finally, according to the research result, the researcher submits some suggestions for students, teachers, schools and researchers in the future.
