摘要

這篇文章主要在探討臺灣城市生活品質之排名。雖然已有許多相關文獻及報告討論這個主題，我們使用探索性因素分析方法，嘗試找出此種類型之指標。本研究嘗試以不同的觀察指標組合，以廣義相關圖為使用的工具，將探討之變數指標縮減，並針對討論城市之相似度將之分群，發掘並審視隱藏在資料中的城市評比。再藉由排序分群後之結果，設定一參考觀察城市，由此看出臺灣其它城市與之最相近者，做為決策制定者之參考。

This paper tried to discuss the quality of life (QOL) ranking of cities in Taiwan. Although there were many articles and researches have done a lot of contributions with this topic, we collect many indicators from previous researches but using exploratory data analysis (EDA) method instead. The tool we are using is GAP (Generalization association plot). We tried to decrease the indicator dimensions of QOL and get the cluster analysis of cities for data mining purpose by using GAP(Generalized association plot) . We demonstrate the fact that some of the indicators revealed good or bad performance of QOL among cities in Taiwan in different aspects. We even also explore the most similar pattern of city with a specific target city for analysis and discussion.
