A 67-year-old male patient with Burkitt's lymphoma (BL) underwent F-18-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scan for staging. The images revealed a multi-organ "superscan": diffusely increased FDG uptake in the liver, spleen, kidneys, and axial skeleton with suppressed physiological FDG uptake in myocardium and brain. BL infiltrates in various extranodal sites resulting in even superscan; F-18-FDG PET/CT may well detect this pattern of malignancy.
