Placement Year Distance English Course Design and Evaluation

工讀英文遠距課程之設計與評估

摘要


This paper introduces a one-year e-learning distance English reading course design and evaluation for 3rd year undergraduates working full time in their supervised practical training placement year in a technological university. ADDIE model was applied in creating this e-learning distance course; while ARCS model was set as a guideline when designing and developing the course activity materials. To share the experience of this e-learning distance course design, the background of the study, the context of the e-learning distance Engilsh course are introduced firstly. The course design process, course structure and the features of the course are then outlined. In regard to the course evaluation, the students provided course feedback during the course and filled in a questionnaire at the end of the course. After the data was analyzed and discussed, some suggestions and reflections were made at the end.

本論文介紹一個針對科技大學大三學生在業界全職工作一年期間的遠距線上英文閱讀課程之設計與評估,課程參照ADDIE教學設計模式進行規劃,而其課程活動教材則依ARCS模式進行開發。首先介紹學校背景及課程演進,接著解說課程規劃、課程教材及其特色。針對課程評估,學生於課程進行中提供對課程的學習回饋反思並於期末填寫課程評估問卷,問卷及回饋資料經分析討論後提出建議及反思。
