談幼兒英語說故事教學

English Storytime for Children

摘要


幫助學前的小朋友們學會英語,老師和家長常常用說故事的方法,讓小孩子們在故事的趣味性和邏輯性中學習英語,不但學習了外語,也學習了知識。複誦和重複是幼兒英語常用的認知策略,複誦是為了檢視小朋友的學習成效,也是小朋友們確認所學的好方法;重複則是鞏固已學會的知識。從幼兒認知發展的特性來看,複誦和重複是幼兒學習英語最佳方法。

Teachers and parents often use storytelling to help preschool children learn English and they learn English as a foreign language and knowledge from the stories which are full of fun and logics. Rehearsal and repetition are two cognitive strategies for children learning English. Rehearsal is to be sure all the children have learned and the learning effects; repetition is used to solidate the knowledge learned. Considering the characteristics of children cognitive development, rehearsal and repetition are the best methods for children who learn English.
