Teachers and parents often use storytelling to help preschool children learn English and they learn English as a foreign language and knowledge from the stories which are full of fun and logics. Rehearsal and repetition are two cognitive strategies for children learning English. Rehearsal is to be sure all the children have learned and the learning effects; repetition is used to solidate the knowledge learned. Considering the characteristics of children cognitive development, rehearsal and repetition are the best methods for children who learn English.
