Challenges and opportunities for the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction of chemical industry

Chemical Industry is an indispensible part of the whole social economy. Environmental pollution brought by the chemical industry has been paid full attention. However the new challenge encountered by the chemical industry, which is GHG emission reduction, is not including CO_2, but also including GHG other than CO_2. Thus, the sustainable development of chemical industry must based on the attempts of controlling the emissions of conventional l poisonous pollutions, as well as accelerating the emission reduction of GHG to protect the global climate.
