近來接二連三暴發食安問題,黑心廠商不顧民眾之健康,在食品中違法添加有害人體的物質,大賺黑心錢,罔顧民眾之生命安全。本文以發生於1979年的多氯聯苯米糠油中毒事件,闡述有毒食用油的毒性物質對人體造成終身的健康危害,其毒性亦經由母體與胎兒的垂直傳染,產下所謂的「黑寶寶」,可見食品安全之重要性。食品GMP認證制度是採自願性的認證制度,推行的宗旨在鼓勵食品生產者持續提昇食品的品質,讓消費者食的安心與滿意,而食品通過認證實驗室檢驗,更能彰顯食品的安全性。食品認證實驗室除可彰顯檢驗結果的公信力及可靠度外,並可因應食品安全突發事件的緊急動員,參與食品安全檢驗,為全民健康把關。
The recent outbreaks of food safety events in Taiwan have drawn a public attention to several food manufacturers who add harmful and cheaper substances to grab "dirty money" in spite of the health of people. PCBs poisoning mediated by rice bran oil consumption caused lifelong toxic effects to adults in 1979. So-called "black baby" was given birth by a poisoned pregnant women via vertical transmission of the toxic substances . This indicates a serious safety problem involved in food manufacture in Taiwan. Food GMP certification system is a voluntary certification system encouraging the food manufacturers to provide the food with good quality. The quality of food needs to be approved by laboratory testing. Accreditation of laboratory by Authority is to ensure the manufacturers following the standard operation procedures. Food that passes the examination by an accredited laboratory, gives consumers more confidence and satisfaction to food production. In addition to offer the control of food quality, the accredited laboratories also play a role to assist the screening of food in question in case of food safety crisis.
