This study is the self-narrative and the writing process of a designer's (first author) life review and description, and explores further how the self-narrative process helps and activates her reflection on professional experience as well as professional development. This study takes the action science "reflection on professional experience" as a theoretical framework. The self-narrative process of the first author includes the profession's difficulties and story writing, her review and reflection on the process, facing core issues and generating new frame, reconstructing herself, relationships and profession, etc. The study also finds the self-narrative process helps and affects the first author's professional career action and development. Therefore, this study is able to provide a concrete example that taking self-narrative as reflection on professional experience and career development.
