「阿婆」作為一種生命歷練的指稱,她們歷經日治時期、國民政府及現今,足以反應社會歷史文化與個人生命故事的交織性。一輩子都在跟土地相處的她們努力在客庄生活著,並保有某種在地的生活方式與文化型態,本文意欲建立以客家女性為主體的研究取向與知識建構,探究阿婆的個人生命故事中所隱含的文化敘事。「大河底」是作者的成長之地,位於苗栗鄉下的客家庄,本文選擇5 位客家阿婆的婚嫁與勞動故事作為軸線進行探究。文化敘事是一個社群得以強化社會規範與個人認同的基礎,客家阿婆的生命敘事深深受到文化敘事的影響,在訪談文本中發現客家阿婆的個人故事中有著:「苦」的文化敘事、「嫁豬嫁狗,嫁乞食仔要背家濟斗」的文化敘事、「當做」的勞動文化敘事,以及在生命回觀時朝向「修練」的文化敘事。
Considering of political, economic, and cultural changes-the Japanese-occupied period, the National Government, and the present day-"Hakka grandma" with rich life experiences could reflect the interweaving of social history, culture, and personal life stories. They have been living with the land for whole life, they strive to live in Hakka village and maintain a certain local lifestyle and cultural pattern. This article intends to establish knowledge construction on Hakka women and explores the relevance between personal life story of Hakka grandma and cultural narrative. "Big River Bottom" is the place where the author grew up. It is located in the countryside of Miaoli. This article uses the marriage and labor stories of five Hakka grandmas as the axis to explore. Cultural narrative is the basis for a community to strengthen social norms and personal identity. Hakka grandma's life narrative is deeply affected by cultural narrative. In the interview text, it was found that Hakka grandma's personal story contains: the cultural narrative of "life is hard," "follow the man you married," the "labor" culture narrative, and the cultural narrative toward "self-cultivation" when look back at life.
