以學員為中心的工作中教學

Learner centered workplace teaching

摘要


在繁忙的醫療工作下,「在工作中教學」已成為工作的一部分,學員在參與醫療團隊的例行活動中,不只能瞭解各團隊成員的角色,更能融入醫療團隊中,以習得更多面向的知識,給予病人跨領域的專業照護。臨床教師的角色,在營造一個友善的學習環境,主動邀請學員進入團隊的日常活動中,使每個學員都能擁有相等的學習機會。而有效的教學策略,需先依學員的學習背景做學習診斷,以詰問的方式串起討論的架構,引導學生運用從前課堂所學的縱向知識累積,橫向實現所見所聞和所感受的工作情境中,藉由有聲思考、案例為基礎的討論等方式評估回饋,將使工作中的教學和學習變得更有效率。

In the busy medical work condition, "Teachingin the workplace" became the part of the work load. When learners take part in the daily routine activities of the medical team, they learn the roles of the team-members. It not only makes them join the team more, but also gain more knowledge. Finally, the patients could receive the inter-professional care. As the role of the clinical teachers, it is important to create the friendlyenvironment, which invite learners to participate the daily routine activities. Every learner has equal opportunity to learn in this place. At the same time, efficient teaching strategies depends on the "learning diagnosis", which was based on the learner's life background. Teachers establish the framework of the discussion by "Socratic questioning". They guide the learners apply the previous knowledge gotten in the classroom, horizontally to the new experience which they had seen, listened, and felt in the workplace. Teachers can teach and evaluate learner by methodssuch as thinking aloud, and case-based discussion. These can make the teaching in workplace more efficient.
