Object's Colour influence on the Reflective Infrared Sensor Parameters

The functional parameters of reflective Infrared (IR) Sensors are based on the colour of the objects detected. This article presents the results and conclusions gathered from an appropriate laboratory test focused on distance measurements with a Sharp GP2Y0A21YK reflective IR Sensor and different colour objects.
