Exploring the Teamwork Measure for Manufacturing-Project Based Learning

Due to the rapid development of advanced manufacturing, making teamwork to act appropriately has been a significant challenge in production field. The purpose of this study is to explore the Teamwork Measure for Manufacturing-project Based Learning (TMM) in the higher education with the participants of the IFToMM (2015). To prepare this, we apply the three factor teamwork model for nurse teams (TMN), which consists of three components (team orientation, team leadership, and team processes), developed by Misawa, Sasou, and Yamaguchi (2009). We then propose two questionnaire sets of TMM. The first set is developed by modification of the TMN (Misawa et al). The second set is developed by our preliminary qualitative analysis on the data from semi-structured interviews (N=6). These sets were reviewed by teachers and students who had participated the course. The characteristics of manufacturing-teamwork is argued in the conclusion section.
