Against the background of nationalism developed in Mainland China in recent years, this paper discusses the issues of World Chinese Literature. It reviews the history of the changing literature affected by nationalism brought about by Chinese politics. It highlights the Mainland China's view and political position of the Chinese Literature and World Chinese Literature and world Literature. It proposes that China should abandon the ideology of thinking of being the centre of national power and national literature. China should confirm the significance and value of the World Chinese Literature from the literary form of the language and its inter-language communication. At the same time, the paper evaluates China Mianland's contribution to the World Literature.
