摘要

資訊科技的時代，大量訊息的交流與資料處理更顯重要，各種可攜式的儲存媒體不斷研發演進，USB 隨身碟具有體積輕巧、攜帶方便、隨插即用、相容性高等多功能特點，所以早已成為重要的電子資訊市場。由於各家技術成熟，消費者的需求依然持續，如何創造外型符合個人需求、提升產品新的價值，是本研究的動機。透過網路感性分析工具，針對上班族群與大學生族群做隨身碟造型偏好之研究，將感性語彙平均值最高分設為產品理想點數值，將此20 款隨身碟產品連同理想點等數值進行因素分析和多元尺度分析。另外比較兩種統計方法在操作、解讀等方面的異同。研究發現；因素分析圖比較親切易懂；多元尺度分析圖提供的訊息比較豐富，但多元尺度分析法的感性語彙分析圖較複雜。以上所述因素分析方法與多元尺度分析方法的優缺點，提供後續研究者選用研究方法之參考。

Information technology is progressing in speed nowadays. The mass information transfer and the data process are more important than before. Universal Serial Bus (USB) flash drive offers advantages not only its small size, easy to use, high transfer speed, high memory capacity and compatibility, but also a popular IT product in the consumer market. The purpose of this study is to create a design guideline for designing USBs which will meet consumers' preferences. Twenty USB flash drives are selected as samples through the Kansei analysis. Twenty USB flash drives are analyzed by using factor analysis and multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis. And another two statistical analysis methods for comparing the differences on their operation and interpretation. The result shows that using factor analysis is identical with the multi-dimensional scaling analysis to the group of office workers. Two competitive products are chosen in both analyses. Moreover, factor analysis is easier than MDS analysis to operate in terms of operation process. However, factor analysis could be difficult to name two-axes. MDS analysis is more complex with more processing steps. For interpreting the charts by ten graduate students, factor analysis is simple and easier to understand while MDS analysis is more complicated to them. These two statistical analyses provide their characteristics as planning and designing new products, which may be helpful to both the researcher and the designer.
