本研究旨在探討木質材料視覺意象之構成因素,樣本為台灣產之15種針葉與23種闊葉商用木材,弦、徑切面各一,共76個樣本。研究流程首先藉由實驗儀器測量木材色彩參數值,並運用內容分析與專家效度歸納紋理特徵;其次,透過語意差異法問卷,瞭解消費者對木質材料之心理感受,最後藉由統計方法探究構成不同意象之因素,結果期能提供設計者及消費者於產品設計及材料決策時之參考。其研究結果顯示: (1)台灣產商用木材中較具高級的、典雅的、精緻的、溫暖的、柔和的、自然的意象者皆為桃花心木;另外,較具普通的意象則為琉球松;較具俗氣的、粗糙的意象皆為鐵刀木;較具冰冷的、生硬的意象為長葉木薑子;較具人造的意象為錐果櫟。 (2)在色彩方面,針葉樹中高級的-普通的相對意象與色彩a*值呈現顯著相關性,而柔和的-生硬的相對意象與色彩L*值呈現顯著相關性。闊葉樹中高級的-普通的、典雅的-俗氣的、溫暖的-冰冷的等相對意象感受均與色彩L*值、a*值呈現顯著相關性。而精緻的-粗操的、柔和的-生硬的相對意象感受均與色彩a*值呈現相關性。在紋理方面,闊葉樹中柔和的-生硬的、自然的-人造的意象與木質線粗細呈現顯著相關性。
This research aims at the factor of composing that the visual image in wooden material. Via 38 kinds of commercial timber which Taiwan produced as analyzing samples. First, through the color of wooden material to measure the physical number value, to conclude and analyze the texture characteristics. Secondly, using the Semantic Differential survey to probe into consumers’ physical experiences to wooden material. Also, by the method of calculation to discuss the factor of composing images in different materials. Later, it could provide the designers and consumers the reference to product design and material policy decision. Its result of study reveals: (1) Swietenia mahogoni has most quality, graceful, exquisite, warm, soft, natural feelings; Pinus luchuensis has most ordinary feeling. Cassia siamea has most vulgar, coarse feelings; Actinodaphne nantoensis has most cold, stiff feelings; Cyclobalanopsis longinux has most artificial feelings. (2) In the color of conifer , quality- ordinary feelings are dominant correlated with a* value; soft- stiff feelings are dominant correlated with L* value. In the color of broad-leaved tree, quality- ordinary, graceful- vulgar, warm- cold feelings are dominant correlated with L* and a* value; exquisite- coarse, soft- stiff are dominant correlated with a* value.
