摘要


新分離菌株第801~805號,以糖蜜為其營養之來源可生成對消費糖收率達45~55%之麩酸。這些菌株之最適宜糖蜜添加量概為一致,但對磷、鉀之最適宜量對Kd最之最適宜數值貝稍有差別。為求麩酸醱酵順利迅速並獲得良好的收率起見,除需要有適的Kd,適宜濃度的無機鹽類,生活素(biotin)或維生素B1外,當需適宜量的混合胺基酸及其他未知成份的營養素存。

The newly isolated strains No. 801, 802, 803, 804 and 805 accumulate L-glutamic acid to an amount of 45-55 per cent based on the sugar consumed, when molasses is used as a nutrient source. The optimum quantity of molasses used as nutrient in fermentation is nearly the same (as shown in Table 4). However, the quantities of phosphate au l potassium, and the Kd values required are somewhat different with. respect to the strains used (as shown in Tables 6 and 9). Furthermore, it was found that a quick and smooth fermentation with high yield of L-glutamic acid requires not only an optimum Kd value and the presence of optimum quantities of inorganic salts and biotin (0,2--0.4 r % as shown in Table 8) or vitamin B1 (strain No. 804.requires also more than 10 r % [Table 6J), but also optimum quantities of amino acids and some other unknown nutrients (Table 8).
