Polarized Raman Spectra IV. The Scattering Theory of Raman Spectrum

摘要


爲正確解釋雷曼光譜,必須放棄現今通行之偏極性理論,應用按量子力學導出之散射公式,本文指出正確處理散射公式之方法,因而獲致下列散射光譜之特性。(1)Rayleigh散射與雷曼散射(Δv=0, ±1, ±2)之強度分佈律;(2)應用Born-Oppenheimer近似法導出雷曼振動光譜之選擇律;(3)由分子之吸收光譜中之選擇律導出各種型狀分子雷曼轉動光譜中之選擇律;(4)加入電振效應後雷曼振動光譜之選擇律;(5)其他各種擾動對雷曼光譜之影響。

The current polarizability theory is shown to be inadequate to interpret Raman spectra. The correct method of handling the quantum mechanical scattering equation is proposed and used to obtain the following valuable information: 1. The intensity distribution among Rayleigh and Raman scatterings (Δv=0, ±1, ±2); 2. The selection rules in vibrational Raman spectrum according to Born-Oppen-heimer approximation; 3. The selection rules in rotational Raman spectrum in many types of molecules according to the selection rules in their electronic spectra; 4. The selection rules in vibrational Raman spectrum, vibronic interactions included; and 5. The influence on Raman spectrum by other types of perturbations.
