高純度釷化合物中微量銅及鎳之吸光光度分析

Spectrophotometric Determination of Trace Amount of Copper and Nickel in High Purity Thorium Compounds

摘要


將釷化合物試料調節爲6N HNO_3酸性溶液,用TBP-chloroform 將大部份之釷抽出分離,水相中加入醋酸及oxine溶液以氨水調節pH爲3.0~3.3,用氯仿將Cu-oxine 等錯鹽抽出,有機相用NaOH溶液洗滌,將鋁等元素除去,在波長410及580mμ分別測其吸光度並算出銅之含量。已將大部份釷抽出分離之溶液加入dimethylglyoxime溶液及citric acid溶液以氨水調節pH爲9.0用氯仿將Ni-dimethylglyoxime抽出,在375mμ波長測定其吸光度作Ni之定量。本法之特徵是能處理大量之試料,如取試料10g時可定量0.6ppm之銅或1ppm之鎳。

The nitrate solution of thorium is adjusted to 6N HN0_3 acidity and most of the thorium is removed by TBP-chloroform extraction. After acetic acid and oxine are added the pH of the solution is adjusted to 3.0-3.3 with NH_4OH and Cu-oxine complex is extracted with chloroform from which Al can be removed by washing with NaOH solution. Photometric measurements are made using a light path of 1 cm at wavelengths of 410 and 580mμ and from the absorbance, Cu content s can be calculated. Then the dimethylglyoxime and citric acid are added into the solution from which the greater part of the thorium has been extracted. The pH of solution is adjusted to 9.0 with NH_4OH and the Ni-dimethylglyoxime complex is extracted by the chloroform. Ni can be determined by measuring the absorbance at wave lengths of 375mμ. By this method 109 of sample may be treated and as little as 0.6 ppm of Cu or 1 ppm of Ni can be determined.
