高純度釷化合物中微量鋁之吸光光度分析

Spectrophotometric Determination of Trace Amount of Aluminum in High Purity Thorium Compounds

摘要


將釷化合物試樣調節為6N HNO_3酸性溶液,用TBP-氯仿將大部份之釷萃取分離,水相中加入醋酸及oxine, 以氨水調節PH為2,用氯仿將Fe-oxine錯鹽萃取分離後調節pH為5.1 ±0. 1,再用氯仿將Al-oxine等錯鹽萃取,有機相用(NH_4)_2CO_3,KCN溶液洗滌,將銅、鎳等元素除去,在波長385mμ及450mμ分別測定其吸光度並算出鋁及鉻之含量。Fe-oxine錯鹽在PH 2 被氯仿定量的萃取,故萃取後在波長465mμ測定其吸光度而作鐵之定量。本法之特點為能處理較大量之試料,如取試料10g時可定量0.2ppm之鋁。

The nitrate solution of thorium is adjusted to 6 N HNO_3, acidity and most of the thorium is removed by TBP-chloroform extraction. After the addition of acetic acid and oxine the pH of the solution is adjusted to 2 with NH_4OH and Fe-oxine complex is extracted with chloroform. The water layer is brought to pH 5.1±0.1 for the extraction of Al-oxine with chloroform from which Cu and Ni are removed by washing with (NH_4)_2CO_3-KCN solution. Photometric measurements are made at wavelengths of 385 and 450 mμ, and from the absorbance Al and Cr contents are calculated. Since Fe-oxine complex is quantitatively extracted with chloroform at pH 2.0, Fe can also be determined by measuring the absorbance at 465 mμ. In this method 109 of sample is treated and as little as 0.2ppm of Al can be determined.
