相間轉移觸媒在有機電化學合成之應用

摘要


電化學中陰極可產生還原劑,陽極產生氧化劑,這些氧化劑與還原劑一般是溶在水溶液中的離子,稱爲氧化還原媒子(redox mediator),常見的氧化還原媒子均不溶於或微溶於有機溶劑,不幸的是一般有機物均易溶於有機溶劑但微溶或不溶於水中,如利用電化學方法產生的氧化劑或還原劑就無法與有機溶劑中的有機物進行反應,造成利用電化學方法合成有機物的瓶頸,然而利用相間轉移觸媒,可解決上述的困難,成爲電化有機合成技術之一項突破,並被視爲特用化工製程之一,具高科技技術之一,值得開發。

The oxidizing and reducing reagents can be regenerated by anode and cathode, respectively. The common oxidizing or reducing reagents are ions in the aqueous solution, When the oxidizing reagent reacts with reactant, itself becomes the original state of the ion. The coexistence of the two or more than two valences of a ion is called redox mediator. In general, the redox mediator soluble in aqueous solution is not soluble in organec solvent. On the other hand, the organic reactants, usually, are soluble in organic solvent and scarcely soluble in aqueous solution. However, the reaction rate can be tremendously improved by using phase transfer catalyst in this two-phase reaction system. This technique is applied in the organic synthesis of fine chemicals.
