摘要

本文係以合成纖維為中心，闡述自其1930年代為人類發迄今的發展過程，歸納出發展需求的原因，就其走勢推測未來的發展趨勢。基本上，第一代合纖的產出是為了彌補天然纖維的不夠人類使用，第二代合纖的產出是為了擴大合纖為人類所用，第三代合纖的產出是為了取代天然纖維和提供給某些特定用途之應用，第四代合纖的產出則是旨在創造人類生活文化品質的提昇。產品的發展趨勢，由無中生有，而為大量生產，再為多樣化生產、進而多元化生產和總體技術化生產。多功能性合纖其及產品的發展，將是未來的主流發展趨勢，它是建築在合成纖維科學和藝術結合的基礎之上，操之於人類的如何靈活去整合創作。

The study of evoluation on synthetic fibre products since 1930 is just based on synthetic fibre. The future development tendency of synthetic fibre products stiII depend on the demand caused by humankind. Basically, the first genation synthetic fibres were produced caused to conquer a shortage of textile fibre for use, the second generation synthetic fibres were produced in order to extend their end uses, the third generation synthetic fibres were produced to take the place of natural fibers and for special applications and the fourth generation synthetic fibres were produced for human to create a high quality style life. The development tendency of synthetic fibre products is step by step from nil to exist, to mass production, and then to diversify production, finally to integrate technology production, which were found in this study. To manufacture multifunctional synthetic fibres and their products is a major development tendency in the near future, therefore, it have to depend on how to integrate synthetic fibre science and their art , then it will also rely on our creative.
