Chelex-100鉗合樹脂濃縮海水中微量金屬元素之效率預測

A Study of the Efficiency on the Pre-concentration of Trace Metals from Seawater by Chelex-100 Chelating Resin

摘要


本研究以管柱濃縮法之理論為基髓,預測C he l e x - l 00銷合樹脂濃縮海水中微量金囑元素之效率。在作法上改變不同濃縮之操作參數並以切飯塊( c u t plate technique) 之手法進行實驗, 即將一正常線作下之管柱分割為數等份之微管柱以詳細了解累積於各微管柱上之金庸置。結果顯示, 在不同流速與管往大小之情況下,累積於微管柱上之各金屬元素的去除豆粒(或濃度)與樹脂之累積重量成指數之關係,即E%=1-e^(-Jw),同時結合層析學上之van Deemter方程式,再加以適當的修正,即可求得一理論之效率方程式E%=1-e^(-Jw/(F+6.3D+1.77))。實驗結果顯示本研究所發展之濃縮效率方程式之理論預測值與實驗之實測值的線性相關係數大於0.98。可見由本理論所推導之效率方程式極為成功。

The purpose of this study was to predict the efficiencies on the pre-concentration of trace metals from seawater. We establish a mathematical model to fit the experimental data so as to se t up the optimal conditions for the pre-concentration columns. A cut-plate technique was employed to examine the distribution of the analyte along the column and the efficiency when applying under various flow rates, pH values, and column sizes. An exponential model, E%=1-e^(-jw/(F+6.3D+1.77)), has been proposed to describe the efficiency on pre-concentration of trace metals from seawater with a R^2>0.98. The well-fit ting results demonstrate that above mod el is successful to predict the efficiencies on pre-concentration of metals from seawater.
