金屬奈米粒子的吸收光譜

The Syntheses and Absorption Spectra of Several Metal Nanoparticle Systems

摘要


我們探討不同種金屬奈米結構粒子的吸收光譜特性,光譜中的特性吸收放帶(即所謂之表面電漿共振波帶)的性質分別以理論及實驗兩方面來作說明,並相互印證與比較。在理論方面,是以古典靜電場理論(即Mie/Drude理論)為主,加以與拉徑大小的有關的修正項,分別對球形、扁長楠圓形以及核 層結構之金屬奈米粒子系統作計算,求得吸收截面積光譜。實驗方面,介紹電化學法以及雷射侵蝕法分別製備金奈米圓柱以及把鈀奈米球,同時介紹玻璃奈米鍍層於金奈米球及奈米圓柱的製備。在比較實驗所得之吸收光譜以及理論所預測之後,顯示出古典理論在預測金屬奈米結構的吸收光譜方面的一般可信度。

We demonstrate the general features of the absorption spectra for a metal nanoparticle, which were predicted by the classical electrostatic model (Mie/Drude formalism) and measured experimentally. The size-dependent correction was introduced into the calculations for the cases of metal nanospheres, prolate nanospheroids and coated nanospheres. Two methodologies for preparing metal nanostructures are described: an electrochemical method for the synthesis of suspended gold nanorod aqueous solutions and a laser ablation technique for preparing Pd nanoparticles in water. Also, a coreshell structure for nano-thickness silica coated gold nanospheres and gold nanorods are fabricated. The absorption spectral features of all of these metal nanostructures are compared to the classical model predictions . A general agreement on both theory and experiments is illustrated.
