Construction of an Automated Analytical System for the Measurement of Atmospheric Volatile Organic Compounds

摘要


以自行設計的揮發性有機物質(Volatile Organic Compounds. VOCs)氣體前濃縮系統搭配GCFID和GC-ECD組成大氣環境中揮發性有機污染物自動分析系統,本系統具有高再現性、低人為誤差、擴充性大、價格低廉、易與現有的各式GC系統整合等優點。而應用在真實的樣品分析工作中,此系統之分析結果與另一獨立GC/MS分析系統相當接近,在某些特定用途上可以提供在GC/MS外,另一經濟的選擇以負擔大量例行性的分析工作。利用ECD分析樣品中的CCl_4濃度除可作為分析過程的內標準之外,也可作為評估系統再現性與穩定性之依據。

A fully automated pre-concentration device was constructed and successfully integrated with a gas chromatograph in an attempt to measure ambient volatile organic compounds. This self-developed system was being highly reproducible, expendable, inexpensive, and easy to be integrated with a GC from any manufacturer. The robustness of this system was tested against a commercial GC/MS system in a field sampling campaign. The comparison results suggest that the GC-FID system is more desirable to perform routine analyses large amount of air samples or in-situ measurements, provided the speciation information has been confirmed by GC/MS.
