分子篩觸媒材料未來在化工業之應用與發展

The Prospective Application of Molecular Sieves Catalysts in Chemical Industry

摘要


本回顧論文包括四部份:(1)分子篩合成之簡略歷史;(2)實用分子篩與特性概論;(3)分子篩改買方法;與(4)石化原料、化學品與醫藥製造之觸媒用途。本文討論之分子篩包括(1)相同或不同孔洞尺寸之交叉型孔道結構分子篩;(2)單行道結構分子篩;(3)特殊孔道結構分子篩,如MCM-22;與(4)小孔分子篩。本文討論之石化製造工業之用途包括(1)苯乙烯技術;(2)對二乙基苯;(3)芳香烴聚酯技術;(4)酚生產技術與(5)其他化學品,如吡啶、烷基胺與芳香烴胺與利用鈦沸石催化之氧化反應產品。本文提出分子篩將來之發展方向,在化學品與醫藥製造之觸媒催化潛力在於(1)輕烯烴製造方法;(2)輕烷烴生產芳香烴;(3)由天然氣生產化學品;(4)線性烷基苯與(5)奈與聯苯之烷化反應。在本文的結論中,我提出個人呼籲,希望大家可以克服工業界為了保護技術機密所造成的障礙,在新分子篩合成研究者與鑑定及工業應用興趣者之間建立國際合作研究發展計劃。

Presented herein is a four-part review of this subject: (1) A brief history of the synthesis of molecular sieves, (2) A review of the new useful molecular sieves including their catalytic characteristics, (3) A list of advanced practical catalyst modification methods and (4) An overview of their use as catalysts for petrochemicals, and their potential use in fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The molecular sieves covered in this paper include four major classes: (1) Intersecting channels of either the same of different size openings (2) Non-intersecting channels (3) Two, non-intersecting pore systems, such as MCM-22 and (4) Small pore zeolites. Their applications in the petrochemical industries reviewed include: () Styrene Technology (2) para-Diethyl Benzene (3) Aromatic Polyester Technology (4) Phenol Technology and (5) Other Chemicals such as Pyridines, Alkylamines, Aromatic Amines, and oxidation products via titanium substituted molecular sieves. A forecast of their potential applications in chemicals and pharmaceutical industries includes: (I) Light Olefins Production (2) BTX From Light Paraffins (3) Chemicals from Natural Gas (4) Linear Alkylbenzenes and (5) Alkylation of Naphthalene and Biphenyl. I conclude with a personal wish that an international mechanism be formulated to overcome technical barriers created by the need to protect proprietary know-how and encourage profitable joint research and development activities between those who synthesize and characterize new molecular sieves and those interested in their applications in their own industry.
