Star-Shaped Organic Amorphous Materials for OLEOs

摘要


本文敘述本研究室開發之星狀,非晶態有機化合物,包括hexathienyl benzene derivatives, 1,3,5-tris(thienyl)benzene derivatives, triarylamine-cored star-shaped compounds, 3,6,9-trisubstituted carbazole derivatives, and 2,3-disubstituted thiophenes。所採用之重要合成方法是Stille C-C 偶合反應以及Hartwig's C-N 偶合反應。大致上,這些化合物有很不錯之玻璃轉換溫度及熱解溫度。這些新化合物可用為電洞傳輸材料或電洞傳輸材料兼發光材料。多數化合物已經製成發光二極體元件,並顯現良好之效能。

Several families of star-shaped organic amorphous compounds, including hexathienyl benzene derivatives, 1,3,5-tris(thienyl)benzene derivatives, triarylamine-cored star-shaped compounds, 3,6,9-trisubstituted carbazole derivatives, and 2,3-disubstituted thiophenes, have been synthesized in this laboratory. The key synthetic methods used are Stille's C-C coupling and Hartwig's C-N coupling reactions. In general these compounds have high glass transition temperatures as well as high thermal decomposition temperatures. The compounds are promising hole-transporting or hole-transporting! emitting materials. Most compounds were fabricated into OEL devices exhibiting good performance.
