電漿子媒介反應合成奈米銀

Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Plasmon-mediated Method

摘要


銀奈米粒子已經被運用在很多不同領域,例如在光電、催化、化學及生物分子分析以及表面增強光譜上。不同型態的奈米銀有其不同的物理化學性質。已經有很多合成各種形狀奈米銀的方法,例如,晶種媒介法、多醇還原法以及電漿子媒介法。在這些方法之中,電漿子媒介反應提供了一個相對直接、可以藉由光波長簡單調控分子形狀的方法。電漿子媒介反應係由電漿子與可見光作用驅動檸檬酸根對銀離子的還原,通常也會伴隨著氧氣對銀粒子氧化因而釋出銀離子至溶液中,在這樣的氧化還原循環中,奈米粒子會進行形態轉換。不同的反應條件可以產生不同形狀的奈米銀。目前,利用電漿子媒介反應已經成功的合成出三角形奈米銀、六角形奈米銀、雙三角錐、四面體型奈米銀、十面體奈米銀、桿狀、圓盤正立方體奈米銀,以及一些不同形式的雙金屬奈米結構。對此,Mirkin等人做了非常詳盡的回顧,吾人節錄其回顧文章中一些重要的合成結果以及所對應的可能反應機制,希望對學生提供一個門檻較低的有用資料。

Silver nanoparticles (NPs) have been utilized in many fields, such as photoelectronics, catalytics, chemical and biological analysis, and surface enhanced spectroscopy. Chemical and physical properties of silver NPs strongly depend on their shapes. Many methods have been developed to synthesize silver NPs with different morphologies. Among these methods, plasmonmediated reaction provides a relatively straightforward method to easily adjust the shapes of silver nanostructures. Plasmon-mediated reaction is performed when visible light irradiates on metal NPs to induce the plasmon excitation and thereby derive the reduction of silver ions by citrate ions. Several shapes of silver NPs, such as triangular nanoprisms, hexagonal nanoplates, nanpdiscs, triangular bipyrimids, tetrahedral and decahedral NPs, nanorods, and some kinds of bimetallic nanostructures have been synthesized using this method. Some important results of these syntheses were summarized and the corresponding possible mechanisms were proposed in this article.
