學齡前排灣族家長對幼兒教養信念與實踐之研究

Viewpoints of Parents of Preschool Paiwan Indigenous Children on Their Parental Attitude Toward the Children

摘要


本研究目的欲探討學齡前排灣族家長對幼兒教養信念的觀點與實踐,其研究對象以便利取樣,選取臺東縣大武鄉及達仁鄉排灣族家長共二十名,以深度訪談與觀察為蒐集的資料來源。最後,本研究在資料分析上,透過質性分析且不斷反覆閱讀原始資料以編碼,爾後經由三名碩士級以上具有教學經驗的學齡前原住民教師共同審閱資料和代碼,以建立資料評分者一致性。本研究結果發現,學齡前排灣族家長認為幼兒教養需要結合部落與社區的環境,以及族人、親朋好友的支持和協助。另外,學齡前排灣族家長將教養信念實踐於部落、家庭及宗教的活動當中,以及傳統祭典上,並且藉由親子共同參與的方式將教養信念融入,以提供幼兒身教與言教的鷹架過程。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the viewpoints and practices of the parents of preschool Paiwan indigenous children from Taitung based on their parental attitude toward the children. The 20 objectives of this study were based on a convenience sampling of parents who had their children educated in preschools selected from Dawu and Daren Townships in Taitung City. In-depth interviews, audio recordings, and the inspiring diaries of the researchers were all used as data sources, and these were analyzed and explained using grounded theory. Results showed that: (i) The parents of preschool Paiwan indigenous children thought that to nurture their children there was a need to combine both the environment of tribes and communities with the assistance from their relatives and friends in the tribes; (ii) To enact their practices, the parents of preschool Paiwan indigenous children would participate in joint activities of tribes, families, and religion with their children.
