For quite some time, the creative industries depended upon government resources to drive its growth. The main reason of the dependence to government is that creative businesses and entrepreneurs have limited resources to explore to generate possibilities. For a long time, the policy makers in government are used to adopt platform strategy (i.e. cultural and creative industry parks) as creative industries strategy driving industries developments. Government may aims to reducing the barrier and risk for entrepreneurs to getting into creative industries. On the other hand, it may also hopes to generate cluster effects increasing the performance of innovations and business venturing in creative industries. However, creative industries were still belonged to a kind of industries with high risk and high failure rate. As the background referred, this research want to address two main research questions through the perspective of bricolage. The first, what is the motivations and business venturing process of entrepreneurs in creative industries? The second, how the platform strategy influences entrepreneurs’ innovation and entrepreneur behaviors? The research was expected to bring more practical implications for policy makers and entrepreneurs.
