社團活動是大專院校學生重要學習活動的一部份;透過社團活動的承辦,也是進一步達到協助學生培養多元化能力方法。長期以來,如何有效輔導大專學生辦理各項社團活動也是學校師長努力的方向。基於多年來實際參與推動校園活活動的工作經歷,以及實際走訪各及大專院校,再與各友校輔導社團活動之行政同仁交換輔導經驗下,彙整出成功的年度社團活動需要具備的要素最少有五項:包含充足的活動經費、核心幹部的辦事能力、指導老師的熱心參與、活動的型態和活動時間的選擇;其中活動時間的選擇又可區分為配合特殊節日舉辦以及善用學校規劃的統一性課餘活動時段。本次研究慘電話訪談方式,以中區大專院校為訪談對象,彙整訪談各校所得的八十七的年度校園社團活動資料,依照前面的五個因素分析,發現「社團核心幹部的辦事能力」是五十四個社團活動共同必備的成功要素,約佔62.1%。彙整其他成功社團要素,期所佔比例依序為活動屬性50.6%、指導老師的熱心參與32.0%、充足的活動經費31.0%、活動舉辦時間為每星期學校規劃的課餘時段18.4%以及活動時間配合特殊節日舉辦11.5%。本次調查研究發現,「人」的因素仍是推動大專院校學生社團活動的主要因素,其中包含社團幹部本位能力的培養,以及邀請優秀熱心的師長擔任學生社團指導老師工作
Participating in student associations is a good way to help college students grow in a variety of abilities; thus, helping college students to undertake various association activities becomes the duties of school faculty members. On the basis of practical experiences of promoting the associations on campus, visiting all colleges and universities, as well as communicating with the administrators at other schools nearby, we found the following five factors of successful association activities: enough activity budget, administrative ability of core cadres, enthusiastic advisors' participation, various activity patterns, and suitable activity time (including festival and unified extra-curricular activities). The report was conducted through a personal interview by telephone. The subjects consisted of 87 associations. After a careful analysis, we found that 62.1% of the successful associations had their excellent core cadres having administrative abilities; that 50.6% were attributed the success to special characteristics; that 32.0% had enthusiastic advisors in participating the activities; that 31.0% had enough activity budget; that 18.4% had unified extra-curricular activities; and that 11.5% had activities during festivals. We also found that "the human" was the key point in the development of extra-curricular activities, including the cultivation of core cadres' competency-based extra-curricular activities and the invitation of good and ardent faculty members to be association advisors.
